2005〜2006年にかけて上演されたブロードウェイ・ミュージカル「レスタット（Lestat）」のエルトン・ジョンによるデモ音源集です。

音楽担当はエルトン・ジョン（& Bernie Taupin）。
「レスタット」の為に制作された楽曲をエルトン・ジョン自ら演奏／歌唱しています。

位置づけとしては「Demo（仮歌）」となりますが、楽曲は全てオーケストラによる演奏／アレンジもされていますので、エルトン・ジョン自身が後に本人名義でのリリースを視野に入れて制作された音源のようです。

アルバム全18曲に加え、ボーナス・トラックとして「レスタット」の為に後に追加された楽曲「Right Before My Eyes (Live) - エルトン・ジョン」、そして舞台のオジリナル・キャストによるライヴ・バージョンを追加収録しています。
